Alexis C. Brooks

Alexis C. Brooks is an attorney with Lampert, Toohey & Rucci, LLC, representing privately held businesses and their owners and advising on the legal and strategic issues that arise across the lifecycle of a company—from formation through growth, transactions, and exit. Her practice focuses on transactional and advisory services related to mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiation, and hiring practices, with an emphasis on practical, business-oriented solutions. Alexis also acts as a point of coordination for clients, working with tax, intellectual property, and other advisors to ensure alignment across legal and business objectives.

Alexis advises nonprofit organizations—particularly community-based groups—on formation, governance and operational best practices.

Prior to joining Lampert, Toohey & Rucci, Alexis practiced in the Business and Finance group at Murtha Cullina LLP and previously had founded and operated a solo practice representing entrepreneurs and founders.

Alexis Brooks earned a B.A. in International Politics from Penn State University and J.D. from Suffolk University Law School. Alexis and her husband live in New Canaan with their three children.
